On November 6, 2024, NEXCEL convened the Mid-term Review Meeting for the 2024 SFP projects. Project Principal Investigators and key members of 4 projects attended this meeting and gave detailed presentations on the latest research progress, important outcomes and future work plan. The Review Panel, with their rich experience and insightful perspectives, conducted rigorous reviews and posed professional inquiries to each project, and provided comments and suggestions of the projects.
Prof. YAO Yan, Chairlady of NEXCEL TAC, expressed her appreciation to all the experts for their attendance. She emphasized that this meeting aims to provide comments and suggestions on the progress of 4 SFP projects and point out the follow-up direction for the future work. She pointed out that project teams should pay more attention to the demonstration while completing the established task, in order to accelerate the application of nonmetallic materials in building and construction sector.During the project review process, the experts also highlighted certain issues and suggested that the task allocation should be further optimized in the next stage. These suggestions are invaluable for project teams and will help them to improve the quality of the projects in the follow-up work.Dr. LI Juan, Program Director of NEXCEL, expressed her sincere gratitude to all experts and project teams for their hard work.
