FRP composite lattice tower

Overview
FRP composite lattice tower is mainly composed of glass fiber reinforced polyurethane resin composite material. Its dielectric corrosion resistance and weather resistance is much higher than traditional metal materials. It is light weight, high strength, easy to transport and install, and can gradually replace the traditional metal tower, widely used in communication, power and other fields. 

Technical performance and indicator
(1) The total mass of the lattice tower is more than 30% less than that of the same type of metal tower;
(2) The proportion of metal connectors in the total mass of the lattice tower is less than 10%;
(3) The single mass of the lattice tower component is less than 60kg;
(4) Tensile strength of connecting member is 200MPa;
(5) Flame retardant performance meets B1 level;
(6) More than 50 years of service in multi-field coupled environments, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 43%.

Financial comparison
Compared with the same type of traditional metal tower, its transportation and installation costs are reduced by 12.5%, and the life cycle cost is reduced by 34%.

Application areas
It can replace the traditional tower, especially for coastal, cold and remote traffic areas. 

Technical limitations
The use temperature does not exceed 120℃, and not recommended for use in strong acid or strong alkali environment.

Deployment experience
(1) In 2023, an 18-meter FRP composite lattice tower with a mass of 1.4 tons was built in Egypt;
(2) In 2023, an 18-meter FRP composite lattice tower with a mass of 1.5 tons was built in Baiyun District, Guangzhou.
(3) In 2024, it is promoted and applied in Portugal, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Bangladesh and other countries.
