Recycled expanded polystyrene particles/foam concrete composite sandwich wall panel

Overview
The composite sandwich wall panel using recycled expanded polystyrene (EPS) particles/foam concrete as the core material has a more uniform distribution of EPS compared with the original EPS/ foam concrete composite sandwich wall panel, the surface temperature distribution of this wall panel is basically the same, and the heat transfer coefficient is lower, showing more excellent thermal insulation performance.

Technical performance and indicator
(1) Composite sandwich wall panel (90mm thick), surface density is only 78kg/m², showing the characteristics of light weight;
(2) The wall panel has no cracks under the bending load of 2 times its own weight, and has excellent bending strength and deformation resistance, meeting the bearing requirements of the building structure;
(3) The heat transfer coefficient is as low as 1.86W/(m²·K), and the thermal insulation performance is improved by 11% compared with the traditional plate and the original EPS particle board, fully demonstrating its application potential in the field of building energy conservation;
(4) The combustion performance reaches class A and belongs to non-combustible materials, which effectively ensures the fire safety of buildings.

Technology readiness level
TRL8: Actual technology completed and qualified through test and demonstration

Financial comparison
Compared to the original EPS particle/foamed concrete composite sandwich wall panel, the recycled EPS particle/foamed concrete composite sandwich wall panel can reduce the cost by 13%.

Application areas
As a green building material with economic, social and environmental benefits, it is especially suitable for prefabricated buildings, low-rise residential buildings, public buildings and other projects that require high thermal insulation performance and construction efficiency
