Overview
High performance fiber reinforced composite pultruded profiles are composites made of fiber reinforced materials (such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, glass fiber - carbon fiber hybrid fiber, etc.) and resin matrix materials (such as epoxy resin, vinyl resin, unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethane resin, etc.) by pultrusion process. Compared with traditional building materials (such as steel and concrete), pultruded profiles have the advantages of light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance and low carbon.

Technical performance and indicator
(1) Excellent mechanical properties, the longitudinal tensile strength of glass fiber composite profiles can reach about 1800 MPa, the elastic modulus can reach about 65 GPa, the longitudinal tensile strength of carbon fiber composite profiles can reach about 2200 MPa, the elastic modulus can reach about 160 GPa;
(2) Light weight, the density of glass fiber composite profiles is about 2.0×103kg/m3, and the density of composite profiles is only 1/4 of that of steel;
(3) Strong corrosion resistance, composite profiles have strong environmental corrosion resistance, and have a longer maintenance cycle than metal, which reduces the maintenance cost of the whole life cycle of structures.

Deployment experience
In 2022, a coastal community in Qingdao, ultra-light large-size composite pultruded profile building external hanging frame beam, a total of 28.08 tons of pultruded profile, compared with traditional steel structure, its weight is reduced by 75%, the construction period is shortened by 83%, the construction measure cost is reduced by 52%, and carbon emissions are reduced by 74%.
