Professor DONG Biao, Chief Engineer from China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute Co. Ltd. - Architectural Curtain Wall Design Dept., introduced the relationship between roofs and waterproof sheets, pointed outthe main problems currently faced by polymer waterproof sheets, and emphasized that efforts should be made to promote the integrated development of polymer waterproof sheets and metal roofs from the aspects of standards, materials, design and construction. He also cited some cases such as the new library of Sichuan Province and Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport.

Dr. HUANG Hailiang, the R&D manager of Keshun Waterproof Technology Co. Ltd., analyzed the problems of traditional TPO pre-laid anti-adhesive waterproofingmembrane, and focused on elaborating the preparation and industrialization of cross-linked TPO pre-laid anti-adhesive waterproofingmembrane. He also further introduced the key research focuses of future pre-laid waterproofingmembrane.

HUO Shengxu, Associate Professor from China Academy of Building Research, focused on improving the performance of polyurethane waterproof coatings. He particularly elaborated on the research progress of this material in terms of technological development, application performance, and service life, providing technical references and inspiration for the future development of the waterproofing industry.

In the salon/Q&A session, experts discussed topics such as the lifespan prediction, fire resistance standards of polymer waterproof materials, and polyurethane foaming.
