Accompanied by Mr. Wang Zhiwei, Vice President of Zhongfu Carbon Core, NEXCEL team paid a site visit to inspect the project outcome - the demonstration of fire-resistant and creep-resistant GFRP rebars applied in coastal construction project. The application demonstrates actual performance of FRP under salty and humid conditions, providing practical references for future technical improvement and engineering standard formulation.

Following the site visit, both parties had in-depth discussions on current applications of FRP in civil engineering/prestressed structures. They also exchanged views on engineering prospects and technical challenges for fire/corrosion-resistant GFRP rebars in coastal environments.

Additionally, NEXCEL visited Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd., with its exhibition hall and carbon fiber production line. And both parties exchanged views on applying carbon fiber products in building and construction sector.
