7 Forums Covering Diverse Topics
NEXCEL Series of Forum 2024 was successfully held recently. Began with NEXCEL Product and Technology Launch Forum and followed by six forums, 36 top scholars and experts from universities, institutes and companies were invited by NEXCEL to share their academic insights and practical experience. In particular, the participation of three Saudi Aramco experts enriched the forum with global perspective and experience, and contributed to build NEXCEL as a platform for communication and collaboration within the field of nonmetallic materials.
Advocacy of Excellent Products, Technology & Practices
In the NEXCEL Product and Technology Launch Forum, 13 cutting-edge products and technologies in 4 focus areas were launched, sparking significant interest and enthusiasm. From "Thermoplastic fiber-reinforced resin composite rebars" to "FRP composite lattice tower", from "3D printing technology for construction" to "Technology for hot in-place recycling clean construction of asphalt pavement", these outcomes are not only an excellent demonstration of technical strength, but also an active practice of sustainable development.
In the following six forums, experts conducted in-depth exchanges on cutting-edge technologies and discussed how to apply them in practical projects to become more efficient, more environmentally friendly and more economical. For example, FRP rebars, carbon fiber cable and FRP-concrete components not only improve structural performance, but also significantly reduce maintenance cost and extend service life, providing new solutions for buildings and bridges; application of aerogel provides a new way to achieve sustainable development in green building; polyurethane pavement technology and low-carbon rubber asphalt technology provide innovative methods for road maintenance; application of TPO waterproof sheet and N30 exposed waterproof system has greatly increased the service life and brought revolutionary changes to waterproof engineering. These discussions and exchanges will facilitate innovators and practitioners in the industry with valuable knowledge and experience.
