Mr. YANG Deliang, Executive Deputy Chief Engineer of BNBM Waterproof, gave a presentation entitled "Research and Application of Waterproof System in Field of New Energy". He introduced the challenges of waterproof industry, and the system solutions in the projects of photovoltaic power, nuclear power, and storage reservoir engineering. He pointed out that the design life is one of the key requirements of waterproof engineering, and the multi-product solution can address the leakage problem.

Mr. HUANG Lulu, Lead Engineer of Shanghai 3TREES Waterproof Technology, gave a presentation entitled "Research of Weather-resistant and Flame-retardant TPO Waterproof Sheet". He introduced the history of polymer waterproof sheet in detail, focusing on the advanced production line and excellent weather-resistance and flame-retardant performance of TPO waterproof sheet, which have been applied in typical projects such as single-layer roofing and metal roofing.

 

 

Mr. ZHANG Xiaoning, R&D Director of Beijing Jianhai Zhongjian International Waterproof Material, gave a presentation entitled "Research and Application of N30 Exposed Waterproof System". He introduced in detail the causes of material aging in roofing repair, the N30 exposed waterproof system, and five application scenarios and specific application parts of the N30 exposed waterproof system.

In the salon/Q&A session, Prof. ZHANG Yong summarized the presentations and discussed with the speakerson the adhesion of compressed air energy storage sealing materials, the flame-retardantperformanceof single-layer waterproofsheet inphotovoltaic roofingsystem and the aging resistance of waterproof sheet. This forum was successfully concluded in a lively discussion.
