On November 25, Prof. LI Zongjin, an internationally renowned scholar from Macao University of Science and Technology, was appointed as NEXCEL Strategic Consultant. On behalf of NEXCEL, Dr. LI Juan, Program Director of NEXCEL, presented a letter of appointment to Prof. LI Zongjin and discussed with him on advanced cement-based materials, FRP - seawater sea-sand concrete, nano materials, aerogel materials, in-situ polymerization technology of polymers in cement matrix.
Dr. LI Juan spoke highly of Prof. LI Zongjin's outstanding achievements. Prof. LI is well-known in the cement-based materials and nano materials sector, and he is also a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) technical committee ISO/TC 71. As a Fellow of ACI and Founding President of the ACI China Chapter, he has received the Arthur R. Anderson Medal. Dr. LI Juan believed that Prof. LI will bring global perspective and experience, and offer insightful guidance for the development of NEXCEL.
Prof. LI Zongjin marveled at the fruitful outcomes achieved by NEXCEL and felt honored to be appointed. He emphasized his commitment to working closely with NEXCEL, jointly making NEXCEL as an international innovation platform for nonmetallic materials.
