Introduction

On April 23, 2024, NEXCEL team visited Beijing Construction Engineering Group Advanced Construction Materials (BcegACM). Mr. Zhao Pengcheng, Director of BcegACM, Mr. He Tao and Ms. Zhou Xiaofang attended the meeting. Both sides had exchanges on the production and application of aerogel and FRP doors and windows.

Mr. Zhao Pengcheng gave a brief introduction to BcegACM, focusing on the main products and the engineering cases, especially the production and application of aerogel products. Dr. Li Juan, Program Director of NEXCEL, expressed that aerogel, as a new generation of thermal insulation material, has a wide range of applications. And she pointed that the future challenges are the cost reduction, low-energy production and the suitable application for the construction and building area. Both parties expressed their desires to foster project collaboration in alignment with China's "Dual Carbon Strategy", and explored opportunities to strengthen partnership.

After the meeting, NEXCEL team visited the aerogel products and FRP doors and windows workshop.
