NEXCEL Organized A Meeting with Chinese Society for Composite Materials (CSCM)

On April 20, NEXCEL team led by Program Director Dr. Li Juan visited CSCM for an exchange meeting. Ye Jinrui, CSCM Executive Deputy Secretary-General and Associate Researcher, attended the meeting. The two sides exchanged views on the cooperation in the development of composite materials sector.
Dr. Li Juan made a brief introduction of NEXCEL's background, indicating that NEXCEL's Program Fund was established to support the development of building materials in seven major focused areas including fibers, rebars, and fiber composites (FRPs). By pointing out the needs for composite materials, she hopes to get support from CSCM in expert resources, academic exchanges and industrialization applications.
Ye Jinrui introduced CSCM's general information and updated the current situation of the composite materials development. She pointed out that cooperation between the two sides should accurately match the need of technical innovation in the industry . In future, NEXCEL and CSCM can work on technology and research cooperation by sharing expert resources, accumulating high-quality projects, and promoting project advancement to establish friendly relations of exchange and cooperation.
The future NEXCEL will , based on its actual needs, strengthen cooperation with CSCM in expert resources, technical consultation, standards formulation, talents training and academic exchanges to jointly promote development of composite materials in the building and construction sector.
