ClimateWorks Foundation and BCEG Advanced Construction Materials visit NEXCEL

ClimateWorks Foundation (CWF) and Beijing Construction Engineering Group Advanced Construction Materials (BcegACM) visited NEXCEL, and had exchanges on energy conservation, green and low-carbon development, as well as resource recycling in building and construction sector. Both parties would like to enhance communication and explore cooperation with NEXCEL in the future.

Ms. Li Qian, Industry Program Manager of CWF gave an overall introduction of CWF on funding areas, fund sources, and project types, and she focused on the importance of cooperation in the fields of carbon emission reduction, waste resource utilization, technology advocacy and training in industry. She stressed that both NEXCEL and CWF are international platforms with the common climate goals, looking forward to international cooperation with NEXCEL on industry carbon abatement, technical promotion and capacity building.

BcegACM exchanged views on FRP pipeline, aerogel products, prefabricated concrete components and building insulation materials. Mr. Chen Xiwang, Cheif Engineer, pointed out many construction companies are undergoing transition under the circumstances of shriking construction market. He expressed that BcegACM is willing to work with NEXCEL as a partner and carry out project investment, technology and product upgrade aligned with Chinese "Dual Carbon" strategy.
